Who is Maditon built for?

The typical Maditon user is a company of five to two hundred people that has AI somewhere in its product or its operations, has realised the EU AI Act applies to it, and does not have anyone whose job is compliance.

That shapes the product in three ways. The interview is in plain language, so you do not need to know what Annex III is before you start. The output is a document a regulator would recognise, so the work does not have to be redone by a consultant later. And the classification is explained with the article text behind it, so somebody without legal training can still check whether the reasoning holds.

The EU AI Act applies by your role — provider or deployer — and by your system’s risk tier, not by company size. A ten-person startup deploying a high-risk AI system carries the same core obligations as a large enterprise. There is no blanket SME exemption, though some duties are lighter and the fines are capped for smaller companies.
