Does Maditon help with EU database registration for high-risk AI systems?

Article 49 requires providers of Annex III high-risk AI systems — and, for some categories, deployers that are public authorities — to register the system in the EU database before it is placed on the market or put into service.

Maditon keeps a registration record against each high-risk system so the required information is assembled and maintained alongside the classification that made the system high-risk in the first place, rather than gathered in a panic near the deadline. The record is created and updated through the API or the app, and it is included in the dossier export.

Timing. The high-risk obligations, EU database registration included, were postponed from August 2026 to 2 December 2027 by the Digital Omnibus on AI. That is more room than it sounds like: registration depends on having classified the system, documented it, and completed the conformity assessment route that applies to it. The classification is the part to do now.
